Bio

Nora Jorgensen is a surrealist painter, graphic designer, and teacher from Northern California. Now currently based in Southern California, Jorgensen works out of her home studio.

Her paintings are examinations of contemporary social issues interpreted through the imagery of both the mythical and the real. Jorgensen’s work draws heavily from her experiences with grief, the ephemeral, and the natural world.

Jorgensen studied Fine Art at ArtCenter College of Design.
